up and rightDoesn’t it feel good to go through a rut when it comes to following your passion and finally come out of it? Life’s funny that way. It’s down then up. Then down again. Sometimes left then right. Then left again. In the end, when the moments of ‘up’ or ‘right’ happen it makes the journey feel worth every bit of it. As the pastors in all the pulpits I’ve ever heard have said, ‘You wouldn’t appreciate those ups without the downs.” Yes, they were right.

I was writing a post yesterday titled, Rejuvenation (coming soon), and boy oh boy was I preaching to myself. It’s always important to take a step back, when possible; to regroup; to rearrange the details of your life to alleviate any inkling of overwhelming situations. In the last few months, I think I’ve been able to do that. I’ve stepped back and now I’m breathing again. Wouldn’t you say? Shucks, today makes my¬†third literary post in one week or so. That’s a start. Before you know it, maybe I’ll have my second book edit completed. Ha! Wish me luck!

Just wanted to stop by and say that I’m thankful for the writing slump I was in because this very moment wouldn’t feel sooooo good. The slump was just a chance for me to re-position myself for my next ‘up and right’ position.¬†Thanks for staying with me and I’ll be sure to bring you more and more content! I finally have my mojo back…
